Welcome! Medicine Hat Community Housing Society

Integrated community living in appropriate and affordable housing is a basic human need and right, and is fundamental to the well-being of individuals, families and the community. Housing is a prerequisite for full participation in our civic culture and our economy. The provision of affordable housing is a joint responsibility of the individual, public sector, private sector, and the community. Developing community partnerships is the most efficient means of addressing the issue of affordable housing. Community input is valued and will continue to be sought as the means to grassroot decision making.
